Perfect for those who want to see what The Book Grotto is all about, voracious young readers and writers - or just creative souls!

Held every Wednesday during school terms, all sessions are casual so young writers can attend as they please.

​WHAT WE'LL BE DOING:

• Meet like-minded friends who also love reading and writing!

• Sharing books we've read or shows we've been watching and having discussions about what makes them great or interesting.

• Sharing pieces of writing we've been working on

• Bouncing around story or creative ideas in a supportive, friendly environment

• Writing tips and tricks

• Writing time - respond to writing prompts or just work on your own project

Wednesday Write-Ins are suitable for ages 8 - 12.

Where: They are held in our studio at Shop 19, Centrepoint Arcade (Little Malop Street), Geelong.

Time: 4-5pm

Young writers are welcome to arrive up to 15 minutes before the start time and must be picked up no later than 5.15pm

Cost: $10 per session - payable via cash or card on the day

Young writers are welcome to attend casually but registering below helps us to plan accordingly. If you do not register below you will be asked to provide the required details before your child attends.
